Christian Outreach Center opened in Frank, WV
Janet Morrison, a missionary with Gateway International Mission and a member of Walker Road has opened the former Frank Baptist Church in Frank, WVÂ as a Christian Outreach Center. Janet has converted the church into a outreach center for families and youth to participate in Bible study and other activities.
Janet has been in Frank since September and with help from so many people including Gateway Baptist Church, Catawba Valley Baptist Church, Oxford Baptist Church, Grace Baptist Church, Mountain View II Baptist Church and Walker Road Baptist Church, all from North Carolina and teams from the Ashland Church of Nazarene in Ashland, Ohio and Maple Grove Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky. With the help of so many Janet has been able to do some renovations to the building and opened a Christmas store.
Frank Baptist church became a sister church of Walker Road some years back but due to death of the founding Pastor, Larry Wilson and other circumstances the church had been closed. Janet is not a pastor so that's why she is turning the building into a outreach center to serve several purposes. The main goal of the the outreach center is to share Jesus with the area people.
